建仔說明前後不同的經驗，他說，「當然有耐心等，在國民隊是先發身分調到牛棚，這次春訓一直都是以牛棚的方式比賽，在國民時先發沒有丟好，被移到牛棚，也不曉得哪時候上去丟，那時是以先發的角色去調整，而今年春訓在牛棚，每隔2、3天就用牛棚身分投一次。」

皇家賽事已進行3場，練投未登板考驗建仔的耐心，也讓球迷想起王建民過去在國民隊調到牛棚的經驗。
